Your talent allows you to produce the product, but to sell it means marketing, networking, juggling schedules, and paying taxes. While you might produce your work of art or can your world-famous salsa while wearing pajamas and having coffee on the back porch, some time has to be spent hustling in the business world. When art becomes a business, a business plan is necessary.

This two-hour workshop will be taught by Barbara Streeter, president and a founding member of the Artisans of the South Carolina Tobacco Trail. Barbara is also president of CREATE! Conway and the VP of Conway Glass Center. She has an extensive background in business plan writing, marketing and public relations and is a working artist.
